As caregiver it might be hard to believe there is something that can keep your loved one occupied for hours. But it's true! A fidget quilt can be a soothing solution to the anxiety and restlessness that comes with Alzheimer's and other similar conditions. Fidget quilts also distract from worrisome and self-harming behaviors. Finally, the fabrics and prints can evoke fond memories, and the soft fabric and silky ribbons and trims are soothing. All my fidget quilts have three layers: The top layer is made of a variety of fabrics -- textured and smooth to awaken the senses, and activities to entertain and engage. The center layer of thick, quality batting ensures softness and some weight, and the bottom layer of warm fleece helps keep the quilt from slipping off a lap. I am happy to make limited changes upon request at no extra charge. (For example, swapping out a fidget.) Have questions? Please ask!
